26 trainees of advanced training courses in the field of "Patrol Police" began training at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

On the same day, the six-month initial training courses of police officers in the specialization of «Strategic investigations department» begun. 58 applicants, were enlist in the studying, who were admitted to the police at the first time. These are representatives of the Main Directorates of the National Police from Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Zakarpattia, Kiev, Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhia and many others Regions of Ukraine.  

Dmytro Shvets, the Rector of the University, Colonel of Police; Serhii Bortnyk, the First Vice-Rector, Lieutenant Colonel of Police and Dmytro Kosinov, the Director of the Institute met with the course participants.

Dmytro Shvets congratulated the participants on the beginning of studying and noted, that the Home-administration of the University does their best to provide successful and effective learning process. He emphasized on necessity to study hard, observe official discipline and regulations. Also, he paid attention that the University has all the necessary conditions for studying and remind to everyone about necessity to strictly follow requirements of adaptive quarantine: conducting temperature screening, wearing face masks, keeping distance etc. Dmytro Volodymyrovych assured, that he is always open to communication and ready to help.
