Cadets of Faculty № 2 and teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages of Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the online webinar "Investigation of crimes related to human trafficking". The event was organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the University with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission.

Experts from  EUAM Field Office Kharkiv Adviser/Trainer on Criminal Investigations Crista GRANROTH (Finland) and Adviser/Trainer on Community Policing Liviu VELICEA (Romania). shared the experience of European countries on scientific methods of detecting, preventing and investigating crime human trafficking. It has been determined that human trafficking in the world is the most shameful phenomenon of our time. This is a crime against a person, a violation of his rights and freedoms.
The cadets learned about the interaction of law enforcement agencies and the public in combating human trafficking. Speaker Liviu Velica emphasized that the indicator of effective
interaction with the public is a reduction in the number of crimes related to human trafficking and a qualitative increase in assistance to victims of these illegal actions.
The acquired knowledge and communication in English with specialists are extremely useful for further study and service.
