A regular meeting of the Academic Council took place in the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. At the beginning of the work, the director of the Sumy branch, Doctor of Law, Professor Serhiy Lukash presented awards to the employees and cadets. Professor of the Department of Humanities. Valentyna Vasylenko was thanked by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for conscientious performance of official duties, diligence, initiative, and high level of professionalism. The diploma of the III degree was awarded to the winner of the International language and literature competition named after Taras Shevchenko the 2nd year cadet Valentin Dankov.
    During the meeting of the Academic Council a number of issues were considered, such as ensuring compliance with the principles and rules of academic integrity by all participants of the educational process; the learning outcomes of higher education students in the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year; the results of enrollment to the Sumy branch in 2020.
Serhiy Lukash, Chairman of the Academic Council of the Branch, summed up the results of career guidance work, implementation of the decisions of the Academic Council of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the decisions of the Academic Council of the Sumy Branch.
