The first meeting of the Student Scientific Society was held at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The leader of the Society, senior lecturer of the department Tetiana Kalchenko acquainted the participants with the Regulations of the Society and the work plan for the academic year. Senior lecturer of the department Natalia Horbach suggested that the cadets should analize the most common grammatical mistakes made in translation. It was said that difficulties of studying grammar are the result of interlingual or intralinguistic interference. In order to consolidate the acquired knowledge the cadets were asked to do tests that was subsequently checked up and analyzed.
