Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an online round table "Problems of freshmen adaptation in studying at a higher education institution" with the participation of a psychologist of the human resources and teachers-curators.

Psychologist Natalia Danilchenko defined the essence, components and criteria of adaptation of studying at the HEI. During the event, participants discussed typical problems and features of the students and cadets adaptation period, identified the main areas of work of curators and forms of their interaction with the psychologist. Teachers got acquainted with specific techniques for the development of a favorable psychological atmosphere in groups. The peculiarities of educational work with freshmen were discussed, taking into account the quarantine restrictions in Ukraine, the possibility of using online resources for excursions and joint viewing of films.
