The employees of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Maryna Petchenko, Head of the Scientific Department, Rustam Abrashytov, temporarily assuming the responsibilities of the Head of the Department of International Relations and Interuniversity Work, and lecturers Valentyna Hardash, Liudmyla Ivanchenko, Valentyna Syvolozhska, Svitlana Cherednyk, Liudmyla Chyzhova, participated in the webinar on the topic “Domestic Violence: raising awareness and best practices in the approach to domestic violence cases”, which was organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the University with the support of European Union Advisory Mission.

Liviu Velicea (EUAM Field Office in Kharkiv), who is Adviser/Trainer on Community Policing, was the speaker at this event. He shared the experience of the Hungarian police in combating domestic violence. The speaker determined types of domestic violence, rules of interrogation of witnesses, in particular children, the ways of the investigation of such crimes, and also gave the recommendations for combating and preventing domestic violence.
