A meeting of the Coordination Council for National and Patriotic Education attached to Kharkiv Regional State Administration took part at the university. A Chairman of the Coordination Council, Vice-Chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Taras Pastukh, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Bakumov, Rector Dmytro Shvets and representatives of social organizations of Kharkiv Region took part in this meeting.
People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Bakumov stressed the importance of the Coordination Council’s activity, and the member of Parliament mentioned that in his legislative activity he would pay appropriate attention to the regulatory framework improvement, which comprehensively promotes social organizations’ activity.
A Chairman of the Coordination Council Taras Pastukh stressed the importance of such meetings, where the communicative platform for the exchange of views and best practices, beneficial to society was created.
Urgent issues of the upbringing the young people in the spirit of patriotism and national consciousness were raised at the meeting. The rector of the police university in his speech to meeting participants pointed to the need of developing the view of the future police officer exactly on the principles of patriotism. “What do we invest in this theme? Everyday work of the academic staff if the University, curators of the learning circles, commanding officers, embedded contractors of historical, art and literature museums, Kharkiv Regional Library, creative teams: “Folk art theaters “Oberegy”, “Dva Koliory”, the team of Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic, Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. This list of our partners and sincere friends, who are passionate about the Ukrainian nation, can be continued. We are much obliged for the cooperation. Events are held in forms of video-lectures, conversations, information and educational hours, lessons on courage, commemoration meetings, cadet and student conferences, round tables, excursions, flash mobs, etc.”, – mentioned Dmytro Shvets.
The rector expressed gratitude to the representatives of the public sector for participation in the upbringing of the young people, active public position, preservation and promotion of spiritual values, cultural national heritages and answered their numerous questions.
