There were nine sections from Cossack folklore to the interpretation of the Cossacks in world literature. The reports were discussed on the participants' pages.
Nataliia Kobylko presented the report "The Image of Cossack Mamaia: from folklore to modern Ukrainian literature." The author explored the image of the national hero in Oleksandr Ilchenko's bizarre novel " No end to Cossack kin, or Cossack Mamai and a stranger woman" and in the "antidetective" by Kapranov Brothers "The Gray’s Case" and concluded that Cossack Mamai is a symbol of courage, valor, loyalty to the native land and readiness to defend it, even at the cost of one's own life.
A program and a collection of abstracts were published based on the conference materials, and scientific research can be found on the event website.
