Online webinar “Psychological aspects in police work” with support of the Regional Headquarters of the European Union Advisory Mission in Kharkiv was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the University was conducted in English with consecutive translation into Ukrainian.

The speaker of the event was Crista Granroth, Adviser/Trainer on Criminal Investigations of the Regional Headquarters of the EUAM in Kharkiv. She spoke about the psychological aspects of police-community relations, techniques of interrogation, witness’ psychology, the rules of interviewing victims who suffered critical incident, and details of police work in the COVID-19 pandemic. The scientific and pedagogical staff of the University, graduates, representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College and Sumy branch who took part in the webinar asked the speaker many questions and got substantial answers.
