Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs became the winners of track and field competitions

Track and field (cross-country race) championship of “Dynamo” Sports Club among picked teams of higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other central executive bodies, activities of which are headed and coordinated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, took place in Odesa. The team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs placed second team place according to the results of competitions.

Members of the picked team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs also received prizes in individual trials for competitions:

  • Vadym Dorokhov, a second-year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 won the 1-st place at a distance of 1000 m;
  • Artem Koptsev a second-year cadet of the Faculty No. 2 won the 2-nd place at a distance of 3000 m;
  • Dmytro Medvediev a second-year cadet of the Faculty No. 3 won the 3-rd place at a distance of 5000 m.

A track and field picked team of the university was trained by lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 2, namely Oleksandr Sokolov, Police Major, Senior Lecturer of the Department, Mykhailo Kaliuzhnyi, Police Major, Senior Lecturer of the Department, Vladyslav Burkhailo, Senior Police Lieutenant, Lecturer.
