Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty 1, Iryna Hohol and Lecturer Valentyna Kochyna took part in an online webinar in English  “Plagiarism Prevention Methodology” organized by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in Ukraine in Warsaw (Poland).

General issues of thorough examination of students and teaching staff’s scientific works for plagiarism were considered. The webinar speakers determined that higher education institutions in Ukraine had become more active in checking essays, term and diploma papers, and dissertations with the help of anti-plagiarism systems.

The participants of the webinar acquainted with the system StrikePlagiarism.com, which has a large database of academic texts and is effectively used in many countries around the world.
