Kseniia Yurtaieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, LL.M took part as an invited speaker in the all-Ukrainian seminar of periodic training of judges of local general courts to improve their professional development. The seminar “Cybersecurity: legal framework, technologies and methods of cyber defense” was held online via the program "ZOOM".
Kseniia Yurtaieva made a report “Criminal and legal means to ensure cybersecurity: current trends and prospects”. In her report, she revealed the issue of current cybersecurity threats in Ukraine and the world, defined the concept of cybercrime under Ukrainian law and its place in the current Criminal Code of Ukraine, spoke in detail about the problems of cybercrime and ways to solve them. A report made by Kseniia Yurtaieva aroused interest among the seminar participants. At the end of the event, the speaker answered questions and took part in the discussion.
