27 citizens have applied to a Legal Clinic of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs since the beginning of the academic year, who were provided with free legal assistance. Consultants, among which 12 students of the Faculty No. 6 and 2 cadets, provide legal assistance under the guidance of curators-lecturers of the Faculty № 6. Verbal consultations and drawing up written consultations are the forms of providing legal assistance to citizens, also the claim for compensation and statement of claim for revocation of the decision of the general meeting of the cooperative were also prepared.
Visiting receptions of citizens have become systematic, which takes place at the address of Zhon Myronosyts street, 13 in Kharkiv City. Due to the convenient location, the number of visits to the Legal Clinic by citizens, who need legal consultations and practical legal assistance, has increased. Legal assistance in the Legal Clinic is carried out using the means of communication and electronic form of documentation during the strengthening of anti-epidemic measures and introduction of distance learning. Urgent discussions on the performance of tasks by consultants take place on the Zoom platform.
The involvement of students and cadets in real legal practice under the guidance of lecturers is one of the most effective ways to acquire practical professional skills during training. That is why additional methods and resources will be introduced in the activity of the Legal Clinic of KhNUIA, which aimed at creating conditions for practical training of students and cadets.
