An online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held on the Zoom platform. The topic of the meeting was “Preparation for the 8-th Kharkiv Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Directions of Practical Psychology and Psychotherapy” (Kharkiv City, December 16, 2020)”.

The meeting was opened by Olena Shakhova, the head of the Scientific Circle, Associate Professor of the Department. Natalia Hresa, the Associate Professor informed the audience about the conditions of student participation in the scientific conference. Alla Shylina, the Associate Professor informed students about modern requirements for writing and execution of abstracts. Students' reports on topical issues were heard and discussed at the meeting. Among the topics were the following: “Gender aspects of leadership”, the speaker was Alona Stohnii, “Specifics of psychological well-being”, the speaker was Anna Yarmolenko, “Specifics of emotional intelligence among students-psychologists”, the speaker was Daria Sereda. Students and teachers of the department took an active part in the discussion of reports.
