The team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - FC “Univer-Dynamo” won the title of champion of Kharkiv region among the teams of the Premier League in the 2020 football season.

16 teams from districts and cities of Kharkiv region took part in this year's Championship in the premier and first leagues. All the championship games were played in a spectacular and uncompromising struggle.

FC “Univer-Dynamo” is the only departmental team representing the higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at the amateur level in the regional championships and the amateur cup of the Association of Amateur Football of Ukraine (AAFU).

The path to victory of the “Univer-Dynamo” team was full of daily, persistent and hard work:

2016 – a debut in the Championship of Kharkiv - 8th place;

2017 – a debut in the Championship of Kharkiv region - 11th place;

2018 – a bronze in the Winter Championship of Kharkiv region;

2018 – a winner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Football Cup;

2018 – a vice-champion of Kharkiv region;

2019 – a gold in the Winter Championship of Kharkiv region;

2019 – a vice-champion of Kharkiv region;

2019 – a champion of Kharkiv;

2020 – a gold in the Winter Championship of Kharkiv region;

2020 – a gold in the regular championship of Kharkiv region.

The team won the title of Kharkiv Region Champion ahead of schedule, three rounds before the end of the championship.

On October 24, the team played the last match of the season, where it confirmed its championship status, defeating FC “Maiak” of Valky City with a convincing score of 3:1. At the end of the match, there was a solemn winner awarding ceremony. The event was attended by the Executive Director of the Kharkiv Regional Football Association (KhRFA) Olena Korobka, the Chairman of the KhRFA Competition Committee Oleksandr Nechyporenko, members of the KhRFA Executive Committee Volodymyr Linke and Volodymyr Usov.
