The cadets, students and staff of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the jubilee language flashmob having written a radio dictation of national unity. The author of the text of the radio dictation this year is a well-known writer in Ukraine and abroad, a winner of Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine Ivan Malkovych.

Writing a radio dictation is not only a test of knowledge of the state language, but first and foremost a manifestation of civic position. As our genius Lina Kostenko rightly emphasizes: “Nations do not die of a heart attack. At firsr, it takes away their language." So cherishing the native language, using it perfectly in everyday life is the sacred duty of every Ukrainian!
