Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the hearings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Education, Science and Innovation on the topic “Reforming Higher Legal Education in Ukraine: Problems and Prospects”. The event was held in the video conferencing mode on the Zoom platform.

The Committee hearings were attended by Rector of KhNUIA, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Dmytro Shvets; Rector (1992–2003, 2010–2012), Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Bandurka; Rector of the University (2012–2015), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Serhii Husarov; First Vice-Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Serhii Bortnyk and Vice-Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor Mykhailo Burdin.
