An extraordinary thematic online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the university has been held.

Olena Overchuk, the Head of the Circle, Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Philological Sciences greeted the audience and told about the history of the university and its role in the system of police training. Ihor Chornyi, Head of the Department, Professor, Doctor of Philology, Inna Holopych, Senior Lecturer, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Nataliia Yelnikova, Senior Lecturer shared their personal experience of scientific and creative activities at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The cadets-members of the circle made reports on outstanding scientists of the university. Current topics, successful presentation of the material, public speaking skills of the speakers, properly prepared presentations, discussions - all this made the meeting of the circle fruitful and interesting.

At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed the relevance of future research topics and proposals for participation in conferences.
