The international scientific and practical online conference “The Path to Success and Prospects for Development” (to the 26th anniversary of the founding of the University) took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Dmytro Shvets, a Rector of the university, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Police Colonel opened a scientific gathering. He congratulated the event attendees on the occasion of the holiday and wished good health, success and best wishes.
Rectors of the previous years such as Oleksandr Bandurka, an academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Colonel-General of the Militia, Serhii Husarov, a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Colonel-General of the Militia, Valerii Sokurenko, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General of the 3-rd rank, Head of the Headquarters of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv Region took part in the work of the conference. Oleksandr Yarmysh, a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Major-General of the Militia congratulated and extended the warm greetings.
Oleksandr Bakumov, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, a member of the Supervisory Board of KhNUIA, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, welcomed forum members and noticed: “I am proud that I was a part of training and education of cadets of the best police higher educational establishment of the state. I am grateful to the researchers of the university for the participation in legislative activity, development and expert review of draft legislation. The remarkable atmosphere – the atmosphere of creative search, professional communication, charity and respect was formed in the university”.
Also, the conference members were welcomed by Volodymyr Hrechenko, one of the first Professors, who was employed by Kharkiv Institute of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Educator of Ukraine, Colonel of Militia.
Oleksandr Holovko, the First Vice-Rector of the University (2007-2016 y.), Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Colonel of Militia and Anatolii Komziuk, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Colonel of Militia addressed to the conference participants in the remote mode.
Sehii Bortnyk, the First-Vice Rector of KhNUIA, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Lieutenant Colonel, Associate Professor, Vice-Rectors Mykhailo Burdin, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, and Anatolii Klochko, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Viacheslav Krykun, Rector’s Assistant, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, and Mykola Pakhnin, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, the Adviser of Iryna Yefremova, the Chairman of Supervisory Board of KhNUIA, also took part in the conference.
The conference took place taking into account restrictive quarantine measures, using “Zoom” videoconference.
