A meeting of the scientific circle “VERITAS” of the Department of Humanities was held under the leadership of Tetiana Herashchenko, the Scientific Circle Leader, Associate Professor. The topic of the meeting was “History of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs”.

Students Anastasiia Kysilenko and Yevheniia Kovalenko told about the history of the origin and development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and students Anna Martynenko and Yevheniia Budiukova focused on the historical moments of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA. Cadets Yeva Teslenko and Tetiana Kundyus focused on an important event - the first cadet’s enrolment in Sumy Branch of KhNUIA in 2019. Attendees noted that the university has an atmosphere of tolerance, respect for the personality of cadets and students, understanding of their vital requirements.

During a lively discussion of interesting and important moments in the history of the university, members of the circle shared their impressions of student and cadet life, told about the first acquaintance with the university, its specialties and history. The students noted that they are proud of their choice and they are ready to be active in the university’s life.
