Svitlana Davydiuk, Head of the Department Psychological Support of the Department of Human Resources of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Oksana Trisko, a specialist of the Department, remotely took part in a 6-hour round table discussion entitled “Modern approaches to the prevention of the use of psychoactive substances by minors”, organized by M.V. Ostrogradskii Poltava Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.

The issues of psychological factors and risks of addiction formation on psychoactive substances; neuropsychological aspects of this problem; psychoprophylaxis and overcoming the consequences of various types of addiction among teenagers; ways of forming positive motivation of teenagers and young people for a healthy lifestyle were discussed.

The acquired knowledge will be applied by psychologists of the college in psychoprophylactic and consultative work with cadets and students.
