Roman Romaniv, a third-year cadet of the Faculty No. 4 of KhNUIA won the All-Ukrainian Contest for Young Researches in the field of Criminal Law, Criminology, and Penal
Enforcement Law in the category “Students”. The contest was held by the Non-Governmental Organization “All-Ukrainian Criminal Law Association” and was designed to support talented young people.

Kseniia Yurtaieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, was the Academic Advisor of the cadet. Announcement of the result of the contest took place during the online general meeting of Non-Governmental Organization “All-Ukrainian Criminal Law Association”.
Roman Romaniv submitted a scientific paper on the topic “Comparative-Critical Analysis of the provisions of the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning liability for crimes committed by a criminal association” to the contest. According to the results of the contest, the work was recognized as the best in the category “Students” and took the 1st place with 172 points out of 200 possible. The second and third places scored 149 and 137points respectively.
Roman Romaniv and his Academic Advisor Kseniia Yurtaieva will be awarded diplomas, and their work will be published in the scientific publication “Bulletin of the Criminal Law
Association of Ukraine”. A winner Roman Romanov will also receive a prize in the amount of 1500 UAH.
The research work of the cadet Roman Romanov was carried out within the framework of the activities of the Scientific Circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1.
