Maryna Petchenko, the Candidate of Economic Sciences, the Head of the Science Department of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the online conference “Gender Budgeting in Ukraine: Achievements, Challenges, Development Prospects”, organized on the occasion of the project completion “Gender Budgeting in Ukraine”.

The event was attended by partners of the Gender-Oriented Budgeting Project, the government, the non-governmental organization sector, the scientific community, and development partner organizations.

The event was divided into sessions on the following topics:

• application of a gender-oriented approach in the budget process in Ukraine: results of the Project “Gender Budgeting in Ukraine”;
• application of a gender-oriented approach in the budget process by the main managers of the state budget;
• gender-oriented budgeting in the context of decentralization reform;
• further development of gender-oriented budgeting in Ukraine.
• The acquired knowledge and skills will be used in research work.
