IX International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Current Issues of Legal, Economic and Social Development of the State” was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The employees of the Practical Units of the National Police, scientists and representatives of higher education institutions from Finland, Georgia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, in particular from Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas took part in the already traditional Conference this year. This gave the Conference an international status. Specialists from different cities of Ukraine, in particular from Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Halych, Lvіv, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv also participated in the work of the Conference.
Serhii Hirenko, Vice-Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, started the event, he noted the relevance of the issues, scheduled for consideration, and wished the participants of the scientific meeting constructive decisions and productive results.
Speakers of the conference were: Ivan Košč, PhD, Lecturer, Researcher of the Department of European Integrated Management of Borders of Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava (Slovakia); Serhii Saltovets, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Head of the Department for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and Illegal Migration of the Headquarter of the National Police in Kharkiv Region; Tuomo Korhonen, MSocSc of Tampere University (Finland), Senior Adviser on General Policing, European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine / Field Office Kharkiv; Kostiantyn Melnyk, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Labor and Economic Law of KhNUIA; Oleksandr Horbachov, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor of the Department of Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of KhNUIA; Oleksandr Moshenskyi, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Science of KhNUIA; Inna Holopych, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of KhNUIA; Vladyslav Stepanenko, 4th-year cadet of the Faculty No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The work of the Conference was in the following areas: state sovereignty of Ukraine, security and public order, legal and organizational problems of combating crimes by Law Enforcement Agencies, economic security of the state and business entities, humanitarian aspects of social development of the state.
More than 150 scientists and specialists were on remote connection or sent abstracts of the reports. All reports will be published in the collection of abstracts.
