Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will hold remotely the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Higher Legal Education in the XXI Century: Challenges and Prospects for Development” on December 4, 2020, from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

The following issues are planned to be examined at the conference with the participation of representatives of higher educational institutions, researchers, practicing lawyers, representatives of employers:

• the legal education system in the context of higher education development general processes;
• the possibility of adopting a separate law on higher legal education;
• a list of specialties for which higher legal education can be obtained;
• prospects for the introduction of a unified state qualification exam and academic freedom of law schools;
• development of the system for ensuring academic integrity, ways of forming a high academic culture of higher education applicants;
• a practical component in the system of training higher education applicants, the use of innovative teaching methodology in the context of lawyers training.
