The head of the Department of Law-Enforcement Activity and Policeistics of the faculty № 6 Iryna Panova conducted an online seminar on "Legal regulation of telecommunications and relations in the Internet" for the third-year law enforcement students of the faculty № 6.

Having acquired theoretical knowledge, the students took an active part in discussing issues related to telecommunications activities, the powers of state regulators in the field of telecommunications; problems of protection of consumer information, protection of secrecy of telephone conversations, telegraph and other telecommunications. The seminar participants discussed economic, legal, technical conditions to ensure wide access of citizens, educational, scientific and other institutions and organizations as well as public authorities, local governments, and businesses to the Internet.

Of particular interest was the issue of international cooperation in the field of telecommunications in connection with the integration of Ukrainian telecommunications into global telecommunications, taking into account the political and economic interests of Ukraine.
