As part of the study of the discipline "Criminal Law" The lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Tsvitana Baranova held a lecture-discussion "How not to become addicted to the Internet" with the students of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education.
The lecturer told about the basic rules of information hygiene, what to do to avoid getting caught. The lecturer paid great attention to information security in social networks and dependence on them.
The issue provoked a lively discussion. Dangerous games and quests that are spread through social networks, they bring a taste of constant danger to the lives of thousands of Ukrainian families. The scale of the danger is impressive. Hundreds of social networks are dedicated to extreme youth movements: roofing, diggers, hooks and these are just some of what a child can face in the Internet.
At the end of the discussion the lecture emphasized that the students should communicate more with each other rather than online and everyone should be vigilant while following an unknown link or downloading a suspicious game.
