Oksana Husarova, a lecturer of the cycle commission of natural sciences of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, prepared and held in remote mode a round table on “Information Security” for members of the science club “Use of information technologies to solve professional problems”.

The lecturer drew the participants’ attention to the fact that the problem of information security is relevant in today’s world. The number of threats emanating from the Internet
is constantly growing and has given the main ways that can be used to store personal information.

Reports were presented:
* “Cybersecurity: fundamentals of information security of the Internet users”, cadet Marharyta Kaptsevych;
* “Fundamentals of data protection”, cadet Volodymyr Kravchenko.

The cadets also discussed issues such as:

* major cyber threats;
* protection of personal information;
* security of electronic finances;
* principles of safe work with mobile devices.
The participants of the event actively participated in the discussion of topical issues, argued and expressed their point of view.
The seminar was conducted using the Zoom platform.
