The championship of Kharkiv region among juniors and seniors on sambo took place. Athletes from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs also took part in the competition. According to the
results of the competition, the university representatives became winners and won prizes.

First place was won by Heorhii Ivchenko (58 kg), 1st year cadet of the Faculty No.1, Bohdan Korobeinikov (79 kg), 1st year cadet of the Faculty No.4, Stepan Kyrokasian (64 kg), 2nd year cadet
of the Faculty No.2, Daniz Rashydov (88 kg), 3rd year cadet of the Faculty No.1, and Denys Smyrnov (100+ kg), 2nd year cadet of the Faculty No.1; second place was won by Oksana Salova
(65 kg), 2nd year cadet of the Faculty No.4, Vasyl Sydor (71 kg), 1st year cadet of the Faculty No.2, Yehor Reva (71 kg), 3rd year cadet of the Faculty No.1; third place - Mykola Sydor (71 kg), 1st year
cadet of the Faculty No.2, and Zaur Hurbanov (58 kg), 1st year student of the Faculty No.6.
