Despite quarantine measures, introduced in Ukraine, associated with overcoming the epidemic of coronaviral disease, the representatives of the Faculty No. 4 (cyberpolice) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to support the work of a chat-bot “StopDrugs”, developed by them.

One of the modern ways to counter drug crime is to block the e-mail addresses of Internet messengers that drug traffickers use in their illegal activities. An important indicator is the number of complaints received by the Internet Messenger Administration from its Users.

The users of the Telegram chat-bot “StopDrugs” helped to stop the work of 1953 electronic addresses, used by attackers for illegal drug sales with the help of the Internet during the entire period of its’ performance. More than 33 thousand users from throughout Ukraine, who sent to check almost 52,000 e-mail addresses in Telegram messenger and more than 24,000 photos of inscriptions and stickers with drug address advertising, which they found on the streets of their settlements, learned about the work of the chat-bot “StopDrug”.

The development team of the Telegram chat-bot “StopDrugs” calls to join its users and jointly help in counteracting illegal drug sales in Ukraine.
