As part of the educational process, Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized and held an online thematic event dedicated to the 82nd anniversary of Sumy Region, “Sumy Region is 82 years old”. It was attended by the staff of Taras Shevchenko Sumy Municipal Library.

The event was joined by 1-2 years cadets, members of the scientific circle “Veritas” and Nadiia Demydenko, the Head of the Department of Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences.
During the event, cadets watched the presentation “By paths of the native land”, presented by the library staff. Nadiia Mykhailivna told about outstanding personalities, natives of Sumy Region. Hanna Mititiel, a leading specialist of the Staff Department, and Anastasiia Danylenko, a cadet, thanked the library staff for a meaningful historical and thematic event and professional coverage of information about Sumy Region.
