Employees of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Police Activity Ensuring with the help of the project “VUM online” successfully completed online courses: “Formation of social behavior of people with disabilities in critical situations”; “Academic integrity at the university”; “Fight against corruption in public procurement”.
The aim of the course “Formation of social behavior of people with disabilities in critical situations” is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities living in Ukraine by creating opportunities for inclusive online education with sign language translation and socio-psychological support, as well as skills acquisition by people with disabilities to ensure their basic rights and needs in Covid-19 pandemic and other critical situations. The lecturers of the course covered the following topics: “Crises are challenges for everyone”, “What is COVID-19. How to behave during a pandemic”, “Planning life during a crisis situation and overcoming it”.
During the online course “Academic integrity at the university”, the following questions were considered: “What is academic integrity?”, “What is plagiarism?”, “How to avoid plagiarism (academic writing)?”, “What are the prerequisites for creating a virtuous environment at the university (university autonomy)?” “How to create a virtuous university environment?”
As part of the course “Fight against corruption in public procurement”, scientists have improved their knowledge of public (government) procurement, they knew how they take place and how to control this process. The main goal of the course is to improve anti-corruption methods.
The acquired knowledge will help to raise the professional level and will be applied in scientific activity. According to the results of participation in distance learning courses, participants received certificates.
