The team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs achieved 5-th place in the world ranking at “Hack The Box” internet platform, dedicated for practical skills training concerning penetration testing for different network node types in special virtual media.
Scientific and teaching staff of the Faculty No. 4 (cyberpolice) and applicants for higher education at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to improve their practical skills and acquire new knowledge in the sphere of cybersecurity. That is why members of the university team take part in passing quest tasks in penetration testing in the virtual laboratory “Hack The Box” (https://www.hackthebox.eu/).
Currently, 532 teams from different universities, among which are 6 Ukrainian universities, have been registered on “Hack The Box” platform.
TOP-100 include three Ukrainian higher educational establishments, such as Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs – the 5th place; National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” – 14th place and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics” – 52nd place.
“Hack The Box” is online educational cybersecurity platform, which allows people and companies to improve their penetration testing skills in isolated, playing teaching environment. More than 280 continuously updated virtual laboratories for educational crack, corporate scenario in the real world and CTF all these are a part of massively growing cybersecurity society with 300 persons, where professionals interchange their ideas and employers choose employees.
