Researcher of the Research Department of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Oleksandr Bazyk took an online course on “Combating and preventing bullying (harassment) in educational institutions”. The course was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and Ukrainian public project of mass open online courses Prometheus within the framework of creating a national system of counteraction and prevention of bullying in educational institutions.
The main speakers of the course were: Mykola Kuleba - Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children's Rights; Anastasiia Diakova - National Expert on Child Protection from Violence of the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights; Dmytro Shchebetiuk - the founder of the initiative “Available. UA”.
During the course, general and professional competencies were acquired for further work with students and cadets, namely: the ability to cooperate with other people; ability to constructively manage emotions; assess risks; make a decision; solve problems; knowledge and understanding of current trends in education; critical and systematic thinking; ability to logically substantiate the position; initiative; information and communication; emotional and ethical competence to be implemented in research work.
