The first meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Procedure , Criminology and Expertise of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held in 2021, which was devoted to summarizing the work for the second semester of the 2020 academic year. The meeting of the scientific group was held online using software for video conferencing Zoom, under the chairman of Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertise, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Svetlana Lozova.

During the meeting the chairman Svitlana Lozova informed the audience about the results of the circle in 2020. Six abstracts were prepared and published in the collection of the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Criminal Procedure and Criminology: Current Status and Prospects", which took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The work of student Ivanna Svinous "Using DNA analysis to identify unidentified corpses" was held in the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the field of knowledge "Law".
During the meeting of the circle, student Alina Tereshchenko made a report "Forgery of documents with special means of protection". The report aroused great interest. Alina spoke about the main methods of forgery of documents, their features, features of detection, as well as specific means of protecting documents from forgery.
