Iryna Vasylko, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity, Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, through the Educational Era online education platform, improved her skills during the course "Human Rights in the Educational Space" and received a certificate after passing the test.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The lecturers of the course were: Oleksandr Voitenko, an expert on the methodology of the All-Ukrainian educational program "Understanding Human Rights", a member of the NGO "MART"; Olena Chernykh, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Chairman of the Board of the Center for the Best Internet NGO; Larysa Denysenko, UNDP Human Rights Defender in Ukraine; Raisa Yevtushenko, Chief Specialist of the Department of General Secondary and Preschool Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Participants of the online course considered the following topics: "Introduction to human rights: the evolution and philosophy of human rights (History of the concept of human rights)"; "Evolution of human rights"; "Institutions and mechanisms for the protection of human rights"; "Historical development of children's rights and their features"; "Catalog of Human Rights. Basic concepts (civil and political rights; socio-economic and cultural rights) "; "Ensuring and protecting human rights in the educational space (human rights and participants in the educational process; child-friendly educational institution; human rights and the Internet; human rights, the Internet and education; The "temperature" of human rights in the school; actions to protect human rights and the rights of the child)”.
The acquired knowledge will be applied within the training courses taught by the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty № 6.
