Vladyslav Stepanenko, a 4th year cadet of the Faculty No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, was awarded the Kharkiv Mayor Scholarship “Obdarovanist” (“Giftedness”) for children and youth in the 2020/2021 academic year for high achievements in science, art, sports and public life.

During the academic year, Vladyslav Stepanenko took an active part in the public life of the university and volunteer activities, he was a winner of international, national, regional scientific competitions and Olympiads, he had more than 30 publications in collections of scientific papers. Vladislav's scientific supervisor was the temporary acting head of the Department of Scientific Work Organization, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Volodymyr Chumak.

The scholarship was introduced to support talented young people, create conditions for the education of the intellectual and creative elite of the city and encourage children and youth for the achievement of high results in education, physical culture and sports, creative achievements in research, literature and art.

The names of those who were awarded the scholarship of Kharkiv mayor "Giftedness" were entered in the city book "Gifted youth 2020/2021 school year".
