Yanina Zakhoda, Inspector of Juvenile Prevention of Myrhorod Police Department, and Karina Skrupnik, a 2nd-year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a future police officer, talked to seventh-graders of Myrhorod Secondary School No. 7 in an interactive form on the topic of “bullying”. Together with pupils, they analyzed the reasons that lead to its appearance.
In an honest conversation with law enforcement officers, each pupil had the opportunity to ask questions on the topic or express their opinion. The cadet explained to the teenagers what bullying was and advised them how to resist it.
The police officers told the children in an accessible form about the consequences of school violence and the responsibility for bullying. Pupils were also explained in detail how and to whom to turn for help.
Law enforcement officers called pupils upon to observe safety measures in everyday life, not to violate quarantine rules and promptly inform the police or teachers of any acts of violence.
Police officers and cadets held similar events in Kremenchuk and Chornukhy.
