Zoriana Mokhonok, a senior lecturer at the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, passed the Pearson Test of English General level (CEF C1). Pearson Tests of English is a line of international exams aimed at non-native English speaking candidates. The test assesses how well the applicant understands the native speakers and competently expresses his thoughts orally and in writing.

The exam consists of two parts: written (listening, writing and reading) and oral. The examination papers of the test participants are checked by qualified examiners in the United Kingdom. The oral test is conducted by certified examiners at local testing centers, and its results are also sent to the United Kingdom for verification.

At present, this is the second C1 certificate in Sumy branch of KhNUIA. Associate Professor of Humanities, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Yuliia Samoilova passed the exam earlier and also received a certificate of C1 level.
