The team of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which included cadets Maksym Sokur, Victoriia Hirenko, Dmytro Khodin, Yuliia Kalitiievska, took part in the gender quest of the project “Through equality and understanding to protection and security”, which took place online at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The college team showed high results and also won more than one award. With the total number of points in the three competitive areas of the quest (video essay, preparation for presentation and performance, online testing), the team took third place, and also became a favorite in the nomination from the head of the Women’s Information and Consulting Center Olena Suslova in the nomination "For the conquest of all 4 elements” and communication manager of the Center for Gender Culture Dariia Velyhodska for the use of feminine vocabulary in the video essay.

The college team was prepared to participate in the project by: responsible for gender issues, head of the Science Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Maryna Petchenko, employee of the Science Department, Nataliia Dovbysh. With the assistance of the Director of the College Ruslan Yakovliev were also invited: pilots of air companies, Yuliia Slobodyaniuk, Yurii Hubria; policemen of the patrol police battalion in Kremenchuk, Vitalii Solomas, Tetiana Yakovenko; Unit A2602 of the Eighth Flight Commandant’s Office of the Air Command West, Olesia Bazhenova, Andrii Vasyliiev. The training was technically supported by the Communication Department namely Viktoriia Balkova, Ihor Kim and Taras Zasiadko.

The winning teams of the gender quest were awarded with gifts from the EUAM, the Gender Equality Monitoring and Domestic Violence Coordination Division of the Human Rights Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
