Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 6 Viktoriia Davydenko, Methodist of the Faculty № 6 Oleksandr Shulhin, Faculty № 3 Inspector Daria Balash and student Tetiana Khvorost held a career guidance meeting with senior students of Kharkiv Lyceum № 89 of Kharkiv City Council and had a conversation with Deputy Directors for Educational Work Anna Vitsentsyk and Hanna Tverdokhlib.
During the meeting, students were told about Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, its internal structure and the specifics of training cadets and students in various specialties and forms of education. It was noted that the university trains specialists not only in professions related to service in the National Police but also in other areas at the expense of individuals and legal entities. The rules of admission to KhNUIA in 2021 were also explained to high school students.
During the meeting, students were shown self-defense techniques and explained the main features of self-defense and what actions are recognized as exceeding the limits of self-defense. The students were also interested in the work of a forensic expert.
Students received answers to all questions and were invited on March 1 to an online meeting with the management, deans of the university faculties, representatives of the admissions committee, etc.
