Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines at the Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Nataliia Horobets took part in the forum "From Ideas to Solutions", organized by the NGO "Sumy Public Circle" together with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact in Ukraine.

The event was held within the framework of the project "Gender-sensitive initiatives: new opportunities for the community", implemented by the NGO "Sumy Public Circle" with the support of the Program to promote civic activity "Join!".

The forum presented the best practices and initiatives implemented in Sumy region and beyond, and aimed at achieving gender equality, taking into account the needs of different segments of the population.

Experts, members of the public and local governments discussed mechanisms for implementing gender-sensitive initiatives at the local level.

Representatives of public organizations, local governments, the Regional Center for Free Secondary Legal Aid, and the National Police spoke during the forum.
