Professor of the Department of Law of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Nataliia Horobets and Associate Professor of the Department of Law Yana Sadykova conducted a practical lesson on "Civil Law and Procedure" for 2nd-year cadets in a workshop format on "Lexical and word-forming innovations in private law."

The term not only captures information but is also a means of transmission, generation of knowledge in the process of professional communication. The language culture of modern Ukrainian lawyers and law enforcement officers is formed from Ukrainian, Latin and foreign terms. Previously, it was possible to study something and use it for whole life, but today a specialist must constantly update their knowledge due to globalization and innovation processes in the country and the world.

The workshop format allowed cadets to gain dynamic knowledge in the process of memorization through comprehension. The cadets were divided into groups, each of which received for analysis a new and widely used until recently or analogous term. The purpose of the event is to popularize the latest private law terminology in the educational process.
