Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held instructive meetings with first-year cadets of the faculties №№ 1–4 and Sumy branch. The cadets of Sumy branch of the university were instructed using Skype software online. 691 cadets will undergo an internship at the place of residence in the police departments of the twenty-two Main Directorates of the National Police in the regions.

The events were attended by the heads of the educational departments, representatives of the Educational and Methodical Department and the Personnel Department, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of Faculty № 3.

The briefing emphasized the conscientious and responsible attitude of students to the duties of a police officer, perseverance in mastering the practical skills of the future profession, observance of discipline and law, personal safety, etc.

During the introductory internship cadets will get acquainted with the features of functional responsibilities, job descriptions, organization of structural units of the National Police of Ukraine, in particular, pre-trial investigation bodies, patrol police, criminal police, units and services of the prevention sector, etc.
