Events dedicated to the 207^th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, genius of the Ukrainian people Taras Shevchenko took place in Kremenchuk.

Together with the residents of Kremenchuk, representatives of state and local authorities, public organizations, flowers were laid at the foot of the monument to the Great Kobzar by representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, namely employees and cadets of the college led by Director Ruslan Yakovlev.

On the birthday of the prominent Ukrainian poet, artist and thinker, the audience noted the great contribution of Shevchenko as a spiritual and ideological leader of the Ukrainian people, who with his work and his own example inspired Ukrainians to fight for independence and freedom.
