Honoring the memory of Taras Shevchenko, the Great Kobzar, Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the participation of cadets held a cultural and artistic event “Shevchenko’s word is heard in the ages”. With his life and work the poet calls to be patriots, brothers, to unite for the great cause, the holy idea, the idea of independent Ukraine. Oksana Savchenko, the head of the Subdivision of Philological Studies, presented to the cadets the Shevchenko encyclopedia in six volumes, which was published for the 200th anniversary of Kobzar, emphasizing the uniqueness of the edition, which contains the most secret, interesting, unknown to us. The cadets were introduced to the art publication “Ukraine of Taras Shevchenko”, which collected reproductions of paintings by the artist, made in different styles and different techniques, which once again emphasizes the uniqueness and unsurpassedness of the famous Shevchenko. An exhibition of fiction and non-fiction, periodicals related to the name of Taras Shevchenko, an exhibition of reproductions of paintings “Woman through the eyes of the artist Taras Shevchenko”, quotes from Kobzar’s works, which became winged expressions, were prepared and offered to the cadets for acquaintance.
