To the World Poetry Day

On the eve of the World Poetry Day, Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a literary and poetic festival "Immortal Touch to the Soul", the epigraph of which was the words of the famous Ukrainian writer Lina Kostenko "Poetry is always unique, a kind of immortal touch to the soul".

During the event, poetic lines by Lina Kostenko, Lesia Ukrainka, Taras Shevchenko, Hanna Svitlychna were recited by fans of the artistic word: Nadiia Demydenko, Head of Department of Humanities, Tsvitana Baranova, Leading Specialist of the Branch, 2nd-year students Yevheniia Kovalenko and Ilona Nikolenko, 1st-year students Al Khatatnekh Mesun Meia and Yuliia Nishtenko.

The event took place in a family circle of poetic communication. According to Hanna Mititiel, a leading personnel department specialist, poetry unites, enriches and glorifies people.
