A specialist in cybersecurity, a specialist in the field of web services protection and incident investigation with more than ten years of experience Mykyta Knysh conducted a review lecture on modern instruments for collecting and finding information from open internet sources for applicants of education and scientific and pedagogical staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was attended by the rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, Vice-rector Mykhailo Burdin, Dean of the Faculty №6 Oksana Brusakova, representatives of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Information Technologies Development, the Information Technology Department, cadets of 3-4 courses of the faculty №4 (cyberpolice), students of the faculty №6.

The lecturer gave examples and names of effective software tools and some hardware solutions that are used during the investigation of cyber incidents, checking for the vulnerability of information and telecommunication systems, etc. The lecture took place in an interactive form. At the end of the meeting, he wished cadets and students to continue to persistently master not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills and to comply with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
