A binary practical lesson on Administrative Procedure on the topic "Peculiarities of proceedings in cases of administrative offenses" was held for second-year cadets of faculty No. 1. Maryna Dzhafarova, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of Faculty No. 1 and the Inspector of Public Relations Department of Kharkiv Region Patrol Police, Senior Police Lieutenant Artem Lykhomanov spoke about the peculiarities of several administrative offenses.

The practical worker acquainted the cadets with the main factors that contribute to the commission of administrative offenses, highlighted the basic principles of crime prevention and the formation of legal awareness of citizens. Then Artem Lykhomanov analyzed the features of bringing to administrative responsibility on the basis of certain articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses, formulated circumstances that exclude administrative liability, analyzed the conditions and cases of drawing up a report on an administrative offense under Article 258 of  Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

The speaker also drew the higher education seekers’ attention to the conditions of making a resolution on an administrative offense, highlighted the typical mistakes made by police officers during its drafting, which is the basis for revoking such a decision in court.
