Olena Lukianykhina, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of  Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, took part in several webinars. The first was "De-escalation Techniques for Police". It was organized by the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA in cooperation with the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Field Office Kharkiv. The speaker of the event, Saer Ammar, Adviser on Rule of Law of the EUAM Field Office Kharkiv, considered the possible and most effective ways to resolve conflicts that arise during the performance of police duties. The participants of the webinar participated in the discussion of the methods of responding to the situations considered in the presented tasks and suggested their own ways of conflict situations resolving.

Another webinar - "Modern trends in the economy and the role of business education" - was based on the materials of the "Davos Agenda". It was organized by the Ukrainian Association for the Development of Management and Business Education and the Kyiv Institute of Business and Technology.

Speakers of the event: Svitlana Kovalchuk, Executive Director of Yalta European Strategy; Olena Nykyforuk, Head of the Production Infrastructure Development Department of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Vsevolod Yakovlev, Dr. Science Skolkovo; Yurii Yekhanurov - Prime Minister of Ukraine (2005–2006), Ima Khrenova-Shymkina, Deputy Director of the GIZ project “Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Directive on Energy Efficiency in Ukraine” and others. The purpose of the webinar was to disseminate information about new world trends and risks in the economy, adjust educational programs in the variable part and strengthen the worldview of the university teachers.
